Moondscope

This is a picture of the 4th moondscope I ever made

Pronouced “moondescope”, a moondscope is a hollow object and it’s a cylinder, like a paper towel tube.

This is a picture showing that it’s a hollow tube

What it does: it makes it so you’re able to see the phases of the moon at daytime and anytime!

How to use it: sooooooo you need to have it near light or in a bright room. It needs to be place on an opaque surface so it’s a vertical tube. Look through the top and tilt it away from the light.

What you see: the phases of the moon. It starts with the new moon, then the crescent, half moon, gibbous moon, then the full moon. And that’s what you see as you tilt it.

This is what it should look like when you use it

How to make it: get a piece of paper, roll it up, and tape it so it stays rolled up. Then write “Moondscope” on it if you want.
